“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 was the verse I clung to, my anchor, when I surrendered my life to the Lord at the age of 16.
I met my husband, Scott, at Liberty University, marrying him in 1998, two months after earning a degree in Youth Ministry. We served in student ministry together for the first 14 years of our marriage until we started Dan River Church in Danville, VA in 2009.
We have been blessed with two sons, Josiah (19) and Kaden (16). I have had the privilege of homeschooling Josiah and Kaden for the past 15 years. I was once a figure skating coach, but am currently working from home as a writer, copy editor, and proofreader. As a creative outlet, I enjoy posting my thoughts here on staletoast.com.
